Voivod drummer Michel Langevin (Away), recently chatted with The Age of Metal. In the interview, Michel discusses the Through Space and Grind tour, the 7” singles, and the future of Voivod; see the clip below.
Voivod recently released a split 7" EP with At The Gates. This collectible is "Double A-Sided" (meaning, each band has its own, reversible front-cover side!) and comes with artwork created for both bands by Voivod's Michel "Away" Langevin. Purchase your copy here.

I like 7" vinyl records, because 45 rpm singles were usually what I could only afford to buy when I was 12 years old.
They were $1, or $1.50, and LP's were $6 or more, and I had no patience to wait and save up for that when I wanted to hear a song I liked immediately or a band I read about was supposed to be good.
These days....
what the heck happened?? These days, 7 inch records can be up to $10, PLUS SHIPPING ??!!!
I'm still kind of cheap and look for records that will cost less, or wait for websites that offer discount sales campaigns...Why wouldn't I want MORE for my money?
But that sort of backfires on me.....how about you?
After finding great buys to fill the cart, then will notice something else you HAVE TO also buy since you always wanted it, and it will be cheaper on shipping costs, than in the future as a solo purchase.
