I was only able to see HYPE once, maybe twice, but I only remember the benefit gig at ILDIKO'S after the Hype house burned down,(Feb 25th or 28th?,1987) and I seen a lot of great bands open - D.O.G.,Senile Decay, Sons Of Ishmael, can't remember if M.S.I. also played.
HYPE released a couple of albums, and live ,were super fast and tight, and I was surprised!
It was like hearing Suicidal Tendencies' debut LP for the first time.
You can blogsearch, as they shouldn't be too hard to find to download .. somewhere, and probably a few places still sell the vinyl, like The Record Peddler online on ebay
